Hey there, just starting out here. Wife bought me a smoker at Cabelas. I believe it is the Masterbuilt Electric that has the Cabelas name on it. Can also be used as a grill. Two weekends ago I smoked a Pork Butt in it. Had a hard time keeping the temperature up because of the wonderful wind. Got the pork up to 200 degrees and pulled it. Not too bad at all.

Howdy and welcome to SMF Iron-Tucson area here, glad to have ya-yup has been a little windy huh-plays hell keeping the pool clean.

Hola, Bienvenedos, this place will make your waist size enlarge for some reason..

Welcome, Did you you foil your butt at 165-170 and then bring it to 200*or just leave it in naked till 200*. Nothin like a butt in shining armor

I foiled my butt, now there is an interesting statement, at 140 degrees. Then took it up to 201 degrees. Let it sit for a while in the foil then pulled it. I used McKormick pork rub, not sure if that is the exact spelling. My wife the English teacher would correct me, but she isn't here. I put yellow mustard on then the rub. It did turn out great. I am hoping that my waist doesn't go much over the 40 that it already is.
