My name is Julie, and I'm glad to be here. I'm hoping to learn more about advanced sausage making. I have been making fresh sausage for several years, but am ready to delve into dry cured/cultured sausages. I also love smoked meats of all kinds, and look forward to learning and sharing and meeting you all. :-)

Julie,
Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it. Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with there opinion on the subject.
You will find that the people in the sausage section of the forum have a vast knowlege of all thing sausage! I would have never even attempted sausages if it were not for the members there, they made it sound as easy as most of it truely is!
