So, ive been in the forum for a little over an hour now, and I cant find a thread that describes a wireless multi probe thermometer that is android capable that has a history read out.....why one might ask? So i can track stalls.......i know, bogus, but I want to see the histogram of temps within my various smokes.

who knows of a quality thermo that will do such a thing?

BRAD

Thermoworks has what you might be looking for. It stores over 1000 readings. Their unit is called Saf-T-Log[emoji]174[/emoji] Paperless HACCP Thermometer. You might check it out because I seen it last night when looking at their web site.

I'd like that capability too, it could definitely help understand some things better.

I've wondered what capability will be added to the ThermoWorks Smoke, when they release the WiFi upgrade for it. At least in theory, an app might allow logging/graphing data at that point.

I've also wondered if there are "homebrew" options of some sort. An Arduino and a temperature probe, or something like that. I'm curious to see logs, but frankly, not curious enough to spend $200 on the idea, for instance :)

Someone really clever might be able to extract the displayed readings from my TP-20, for instance, to log them. But I have no idea how that would be done.

There are plenty of homebrew options out there. A few are listed here and on PH's forum. I built a crude RPi version.

Aha. Well great info. I went to pelletheads forum and found some other articles. With regard to arduino and logging, some have homebrewed some interesting setups, almost to the point of ridiculous (single unit that reads and records up to 100 probes.....)
