Hi, this is Diane (nuarcher) from California.  I have a cookshack smoker that I have been 'fooling around' with for a couple of years...I love this smoker.  I decided that I would like to get a bit more into using my smoker this year and am looking forward to the experise of all! 

I also love to make Jerky and my husband got me a Cablelas 160lit for my birthday recently and I am just starting to use it too.  I learned to make jerky from my father-in law

who was in his late 80's when he started teaching me...it took me almost 5 years to get any good at it!  Lot's to learn about making good jerky and when it is done!

I look forward to new recipes to use for my smoker and help with my new dehydrater in making jerky!
