Hi There...

  1. So I've been lurking for a few weeks and finally decided to join...I'd like to start by thanking TulsaJeff and everyone else for making these forums the resource they are - tons of information here, and it's helped tremendously.

Mrs. TJ just purchased me one of the Smoke Hollow 4 in 1 units from Sam's Club...I read a bunch about it before telling her I wanted it and have done most of the mods suggested, and it is my first smoker - so far, I'm loving it.

I'm a California native, currently in Temecula (about 1 hour north of San Diego), self employed and really wish I had unlimited resources to devote to this hobby...sadly, like most, I do not so my toys are fairly limited...but that aspect makes it fun as well.

Welcome to the forums, TJ!  You've found the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
