I put together a drum smoker (kit I bought from Big Poppa Smokers) and have been using that for the last six months or so. After looking on the net and wanting to move up,  I recently purchased a Brinkmann Trail Master Limited. After a disastrous thanksgiving using the Brinkmann I found this site looking for answers and I think I found what was wrong and will be needing to do some modifications. I'm glad I found this site and hope to learn a lot more.

Welcome aboard TJ!  Lots of friendly and helpful people here!

Used to stay in Hollister when closer motels were booked for the Garlic Festival.

Is that great Mexican restaurant still there on the main drag?

Good luck and good smoking.

Hey all! Thanks for the warm welcome. Sorry for the late reply, things got a little busy. Venture, not sure about the Mexican restaurant. There are quite a few. I haven't checked them all out yet and been here 5 years.
