Hello all,
New member Eric here from sunny western New York, about 30 miles northeast of Buffalo to be precise. I just joined but have been viewing and searching on this forum for the past 3 months. I was interested in upgrading my original small weber smoker to a Lang but couldn't afford it with the shipping costs. I was genuinely surprised when my wife and son bought me a Brinkmann Trailmaster LE for fathers day. After reading all of the mods I could do on the BTLE I've spend around an additional $100 on this decent smoker. I purchased Jeff's recipe for the rubs and sauce and have been very happy with them. Over several weekends this summer I've smoked a brisket, ribs, pork butt, and the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeño peppers and all came out amazing. Thanks Jeff. I will be trying the beer can chicken this week and I'm sure this will turn out great as well. Thank you all for welcoming me into the inner fold of this great website and fun hobby. Keep smoking!
