Hi from PA!

    Hi to everyone out there from the great state of PA. My name is Dave and I just started smoking meats last year. I had been paying to have my ring balogna made and decided that I would like to get into making my own. My Dad and Mom got me a smoker for Christmas last year and I really enjoy making my own deer balogna. My smoker is a Smoke Hollow gas model. I like it for the amount of smoking I do. I really want to get into smoking other meats in the future. My Dad has asked me to do some dried beef for him. Hopefully, I will be able to get it done for him. I am sure with the help from this site I will be able to.

    As far as some information about me.....well, here goes. I am a minister and enjoy that work. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, woodworking, and wood carving. I have been employed outside the ministry in the construction trades. The last construction work I have been involved in on a regular basis is drywall finishing. I am not working outside of the ministry right now except to try to remodel a church camp cabin when I have the time.
