  1.  I'm very new to smoking meat and bbqing. I have a brinkmann trailmaster limited edition smoker that I sealed up and now i'm playing with it to adjust temps and such to get used to it.

Welcome, from regular-size sky country! I'm running a similar offset. I'll be smoking pork loin later today.

    Welcome from Canada.

This is a great place to learn to smoke. I only had limited success until I found the forum.

I look forward to your posts.

  8. Thanks Ya'all.

Now my first run was smoking some sausage, came out pretty good, not the greatest but not a failure either.

now today i'm going to smoke a chicken or 2.  what I really want to know is ---good recipes for rubs on ribs, and a good rub for a brisket(later on)

    thanks
