Hi from a Texas Newbie!

Hello there!

Firstly thanks for having me here .

I am a newbie originally from the UK now living in Dallas, TX.  

I have just bought my first Smoker (RecTec Mini) which is due to arrive on Monday. Very excited particularly as I have never smoked anything . I have a gas grill but after seeing a few programes and reading some articles I realised I need to get into Smoking particularly living in Texas.

I am busily reading lots of threads on this great forum.

Looking forward to my first smoke!

David, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and looking forward to using the new toy.  Those friendly Texans will have you smoking everything under the sun from a bovine in no time flat.
