Hi all. I'm in Ipswich, MA and have a large Big Green Egg. I like it a lot except I wish you could add more fuel more easily. I've done a few moderately long cooks, but nothing overnight. I'd like to get a temp. regulator but am unsure of which one.

For many years I worked as a journalist covering nearly everything. For the last 10 or so years I freelanced about wine, food and spirits. As lucrative as freelancing can be for some, it wasn't in my case. Now I drive for FedEx Express (the one with the jets; not that home or ground stuff). I enjoy it, have a great boss and full benefits even though I'm part time. This helped a lot when I had lymphoma last winter. All better (for) now.

Other than that, I love blues, classical, traditional folk music and good rock and roll. I play guitar and have a 1971 D-28 and a Froggy Bottom, both of which sound quite fine.

Welcome to the site!  That BGE should have no problems with long smokes, I get 12 hrs plus with my WSM easily!  I can get 10 hrs at 225 without touching a thing if the wind is mild.

Mike
