Hi, I'm from southwest Pennsylvania & using a Masterbuilt electric smoker. Smoking for the first time today using a recipe I found on this site. Trying boneless chicken breasts since I heard they were easier thing to start with, I'll let you know how they turn out.

Best of luck on your maiden voyage and welcome to the forum. Lots of great info and great folks willing to give it. Happy 4th.

Good afternoon and welcome from East Texas

Chicken turned out pretty good, internal temp got over 165 but meat was still juicy. I bought a rub but I really didn't like it so I'll be looking for a new one next time. Overall it was a lot of fun & pretty good food.
