David here from Albany Western Australia. Although I have been smoking fish and meat for many years over time I have learn't that there is a lot more to it that the bare bacic method.

I recently bought a Bradley 4 rack smoker that was being used as a demo model. After using it a couple of times I found that the bottom of the door seal was damaged so I would like to replace it. I noticed that they are available on ebay for about $17, problem being that the seller does not post to Australia. After a lot of searching I found a place in New Zealand that sells them for $90, hell of a difference in price, I don't really want to pay that much.

Can anyonr advise me on this.

Cheers

David

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and cold day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Maybe contact Bradley and see what they can do

Hello David and Welcome to our addiction.  Many good folks here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have, and pictures help a bunch.  I run into this now and then living in England.  Problem is that IF you can find someone to buy it for you, by the time you pay postage you won't be far off the price you pay there.  Sorry.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

Thanks for your answers, Think I will keep looking for a seal at a reasonable price, just don't want to pay $90 for seal that I know is worth about $15. Meanwhile the smoker is working fine and we are having lots of fum with it.

Cheers
