Welcome ikilldeer!!! Good to see another Ohioan on the forum! I have a Smoke Hollow PS 44" propane smoker that I got just in early November. I realy like it but it was a little higher than your budget. I think it was $275 at Sam's Club. Was at Sams in Chillicothe the other day and they still had them, if your interested. One of the great people on the forum will steer you in the right direction. Or you could check out the forum for propane smokers on here! Again WELCOME!!!

Welcome aboard!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
