Hey everyone,

I've been lurking on here for a while soaking up information and trying out different things. Here's a quick intro and a couple pics of what I got.

I am a 27 old Chiropractic student in Upstate South Carolina, but moving to South Florida soon to pursue music, my life's work. I like to live small and independent. I had organic micro-farm but unfortunately we shut down to sell the property due to a divorce. The swine I raised was the best meat I have ever had. Big thing is I love outdoor cooking. I used a Weber Performer for the last 4 years and could not get the damn thing to burn out. Easily over 1000 fires in it, doing anything and everything. At the beginning of this year I started a plan for a RF smoker build, but could not find a good price on a tank around here. Frustrated, I started looking for old smokers I could "build up." I stumbled across a great older fella about an hour from me that builds and sells smokers in his spare time. Well, the 3,4,5 pics is what I picked up from him about a week ago, and I have big plans to add on! It's not RF, which is ok, I can grill on her too. I also have plans to lease land and start the little farm back up and breed award winning old gloustershire spot pork.

Anyways, so you'll hear a lot from me on here!

Take care guys, Thanks, and go Gamecocks!

Welcome to the group Joshua!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
