My name is Ronnie, I have a beautiful wife of 15 years, and a son currently serving in the United States Air Force. We (my wife and I) were blessed 13 months ago with my son's first child (boy), oh what a joy to be a Grandparent! I recently became the owner of a new MES 30 digital smoker. I am awaiting my AMNPS and pellets. The MES, stand, and cover, are still in their boxes until my smoker and pellets arrive. I am excited to begin this journey into all things smoked. I am sure I will have lots of questions about smoking meats and cheeses, along the way of the learning curve, so to speak. Thank you for allowing me to be a member of this forum.

Wecome Ronnie to your, your wife and your growing family!  Lots of folks here with your smoker so you'll be making perfect Q in no time flat.  There are lots of folks here with your smoker who can provide any assistance you need.

And thank your son for all of us for his service.  We're big on supporting those who serve for us all.

Hey, Thank you for your service, and welcome to the forum. Nothing like grand kids, we have them from 22 down to 9 months.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the welcome mat being put out. I am ready to get into the game. As soon as the AMNPS and pellets get here, I am unpacking the new smoker and trying my hand at this new found love.
