I'm Eric and I'm brand new to the site.  I live in middle Tennessee and I've been smoking for 5 years or so but i've got a lot to learn.  I currently have a hand me down brinkman grill/smoker and a vertical charcoal smoker.  I am about to take on a project of building a RF smoker out of a 300 gallon propane tank I had given to me.  I've been scouring through this site for the past week stealing ideas. I'm an engineer by trade so I'm sure I'll over analyze the design but I'm looking forward to it!

First off welcome to SMF there Eric. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
