I've visited this site for a few years now and figured it was time to join...been smoking meats on a modified Chargriller Pro for about 4 years. Typically, I use hickory mixed with a bit of apple wood. I was born and raised in the great state of Michigan, but call the Dayton, Ohio area home. It's not a bad place to live...although, football season can be a bit intense. Not many people around here appreciate a guy whose roots are maize and blue.
