Bob here from Bullhead city AZ. First I'd like to say thanks to all the guys & girls on here! I've been reading all lot of helpful info on here the last couple weeks.. just Got my first smoker a analog MES. I'm pretty good on the grill and always wanted to try smoking after a co worker smoked me a turkey years ago, and now that I'm hooked on the TV show Pit Masters, I had to get one. I found my smoker for $75. New out the door. so far I've done ribs and a ham (helped by you all) they turned out Ok. I've since gotten a Maverick ET73 haven't cooked with it yet, but I did run the smoker to check it out and the gauge that came with it was of by 30/35° so I blame that for the ribs just being "Ok". I modified the back of the Maverick so I don't have to take the battery door or the clip off to turn unit on/off. Also made a bracket to hold the unit up off the smoker. I got pics but don't know where to put em.. Thanks again all for having a great place to get help.. I'll get those pics up later.
