Not new to smoke'n, but new to the forum nonetheless... and I must say, after browsing old thread, there's lots of great information! Case in point.. the tuning plates, I got that from here. I'm going to give them a try tomorrow with a brisket I picked up tonight.

First off welcome to SMF. You already know how good the place is so I'm glad you came out of the darkness and saw the light. We are always glad to have new people here cause they might just look at things and little differant then we do and that always make for some really differant way to do things. What kind of rig you got? Too small and the plates don't work well.





works good on FLO and bigger pits...





However,this is my 16"X36" NB RedRiver that I reversed and plated. Works very well, I got lucky with her!
