Hi Jimmy. They look fine but you wanted more flavour? What did you use this time?

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.

Next time try some different spices or rubs do about a third of them different and see what you like best

Well like a big dummy I over seasoned them. I used way too much Tony C and also added some garlic salt. The seasoning was so heavy it just clumped up and tasted like I was eating sand. I wiped them off real good and still ate them. I'm not gonna let something like that stand in the way. LOL. I think I will try injecting them and leave them bare on outside next. Or maybe a little of the creole butter on the outside too. All I have is time!

:welcome1: To the forum. You just learned your first BBQ lesson. Season sensibly....nowhere to go but up from here. Good luck with your next wings. :grilling_smilie:

Had to redeem myself with some eatable wings. Took S2K2K's advice and just shot them up with some creole butter, little cracked pepper and then a little sweet baby rays (light coating) with about 30 mins left. I loved them!! Brought some for a few buddies at work to sample. They were mad I didn't bring more! I got 5 great reviews from my buddies and one from myself. I will take that as a win!
