Hi All, I just bought the Master Pro Electric Smoker and not knowing anything about smokers I need your help.  I have been reading like crazy and I am about to take the jump and start smoking.  Any help will be wonderful.

I most highly suggest a nekkid chicken. its cheap, its easy, and mostly it requires patience, and of course its fast.

Wash and dry the bird, load the smoker with chips, turn it on, insert bird, probe breast, and wait it reaches 165. Remove, allow to sit 15 mins., then eat.

Don't worry about all though little helpful hints the first time, just smoke the bird and enjoy how well it tastes. You'll be amazed how well it turns out. Then just think about all those different ways you can try it to make it even better.

Just relax and have patience. OH and leave the dang door closed!

Thanks to both of you for your thoughts.

Yes, I did sign up for the five day information

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Welcome to the forum. Good advice from Foamheart. I'm sure you will do fine. Relax and enjoy your first smoke.

Even the worst things I have ever smoked were pretty tasty even if they were dry or something.

Eating your mistakes isn't too bad and you learn from it.

Yeah, what Foamheart said. Have you purchased thermometers yet? At the very least get a really good instant read thermometer. You are really going to enjoy your chicken. Matter of fact, chicken is still my favorite to smoke.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a cool and rainy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
