I have been trying to figure all my dimensions of my 250 gal build and using the feldons calculator. It says that I need 158.40 sq in for my fb/cc opening. My fb is gonna be 22x30x30, where I need help is figuring exactly what measurements are needed for my half moon opening.

You will need your cook chamber diameter / radius. Google circle chord calculator or find one of Dave's posts, circle calc in his Sig line. Sorry no outside links allowed. Knowing your radius you can get the area you need by changing the length of the chord. A chord is a line bisecting a circle at 2 points. Straight line through your circle.

Good luck....I'm sure someone else will stop by and help out too. Welcome aboard!
