Help Needed - California Ham Spice

    My Aunt just found a recipe my grandparents had used at their locker plant long before I was born and I want to replicate it.  I found a place where I can order "California Ham Spice" online, but I would like to mix it myself.  Does anyone have a recipe for it?

    Welcome!

    It seems to be readily available from commercial sources.  I did find that one source says it is heavy in cinnamon and clove, but no clue as to proportions.

    CALIFORNIA HAM SPICE...No Problem...Take one Ham cover completely with...Anaheim Peppers, Gilroy Garlic, Dungeness Crab, Alfalfa Sprouts, Wheat Grass Juice and Avocado...Place in smoker, Run five mile, 18 Holes at Pebble Beach, Drink Yogurt Smoothie...Serve!

    Is there a really safe 'food' grade silicone out there??  Not sure if the 'pouch' bursted, that the fluid silicone would infiltrate the meat and be cause for a ruined ham..  AND, BTW, why the need for big breast in ham, I always thought that the 'ham' was more towards the leg.  Makes for some good material here that I best not get into, for fear of being barred or dis-membered..  Besides I know when to shut up, I been married for almost 40 years now!!

    Nope...No Augmentation...I'm an All Natural, kind of guy. Oh yeah and alittle extra Fat is good too!...JJ
