I put a brisket on the CG about 5.5 hours ago - I've maintained a temp of about 225 - 240 but I can't seem to get above 150 degrees on the brisket. It's been about 2 hours now. I know that they usually plateau but do they plateau this low and for this long? Its a small brisket - Just the flat @ about 4 lbs.

Any help?

Hang in there, it will start to move soon. They will usually plateau between 150º and 170º. Once it starts moving it won't take long after that.

They can take as long as 2 to 2.5 hours a pound. I once had a 10 lb brisket take 25 hours. You just have to hang in there. It will get there eventually. I've learned with brisket that if you want to eat it today you probably need to start it yesterday. Oh, but it is so worth the wait. Hang in there.....

Patience, Grasshopper! I've actually had a couple pieces of meat drop in temp. Just have to wait it out.

Take care, have fun, and do good!
