Hellow from a newbe

My name is Jim I live in Bullhead City, AZ.

I got a Masterbuilt (as near as I can tell) 30" propane smoker for Christmas

been wanting a smoker for a while but just haven't pulled the plug. well the wife did it for me.

I also have a Weber 6 burner SS BBQ.

 I have been looking at the mods to this smoker and some look interesting.

I run my propane from a 100 gal tank with a regulated to 11" m into the house to the stove, then stubbed out to the back porch for the BBQ and now the smoker with no regulator.

worked fine with the BBQ but the maybe not the smoker. 

I did some ribs the Tuesday after Christmas and had to watch the temp for 4 hours

didn't ruin the meat but what a hassle trying to keep the temp at 225. I purchased an adjustable Regulator yesterday looks like it might work time will tell.
