Hello everyone!

                      My name is Josie. I joined the forum so my Hubby matt and I can get pointers and share our experiences with everyone. We have two young kids. For the past couple years Hubby and I having been doing cook offs. Mostly ribs. We have also done the ultimate hotdog. Grilling/smoking is a great way to share interest and have family fun. Matt just smoked his first pig on sunday for his sister graduation. Now he thinks he is the ultimate griller...lol! So now its time for a throw down. I have already recieve some good advice. Well first off welcome Joshie and your hubby Matt to SMF. You will like this place for there are an awful lot of good folks here that woulf just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat or what ever. Now you have to give matt the coudos for smoking his first pig

 goes to him and now for you and your ribs you gonna have to wait till he's not around and we can give you some insider info on your ribs so you can make your ribs better. Now I remember in an earilier thread you were saying that he likes gas and you like charcoal. So thats gonna be hard to beat a gasser (I'm one too) but you can beat him anyway. So you might want to check out the E-course and that will give you some basics of smoking and cooking ribs too.
