I am so new to smoking, I dont even have a smoker yet!
Only visions of some smoked chicken breasts in my mind.....
Seriously though, I am going to look into getting a smoker within the next few days!
I am willing to learn something new in the way I cook.
I thought I could be satisfied with the regular old gas grill, but smoking seems to have so much more to offer thanks to sites like this!
I think I have my heart set on getting the Weber Smoky Mt.
Just dropping in to say Hello.

Hello Tracy, welcome to the SMF, and the world of smokin'. Be sure and readup on how to season your new smoker, that is if you don't know how. Just spray with Pam or something like it, get it fired up and let it do it's thing for a cuople of hours and you should be set. Make the time to read around the different forums, plenty of great suggestions and experiences.

Welcome aboard tracy, you have come to the best place on the web for about anything. This group has the broadest range of intelegents anywhere, they know a little (oops

I meant a lot) about everything and they are great to help at any time... This is the GREATEST site...

Welcome Tracy,

A word of caution... You start out with chicken breasts but before you know it, your packing your smoker with fatties, ABT's, ribs, brisket and all sorts of other things. This "hobby" becomes an "addiction" real fast! There are lots of great people here to help you through it though.
