Had a Texan friend visit last week. He said he wanted to smoke a brisket. I didn't have a smoker so ended up using my buddies Master Built electric stand up smoker. Let me tell ya. I'm hooked!!! My gracious, best thing I've ever tasted.
I'm James and live in VA Beach,Va.
Thanks for having me in this forum.
Already been doing some research. Thinking about maybe going the pellet version. The MES was a bit cantankerouso though it got the job done.
Thanks again

Welcome to the board, James! Use the Search here to look up smokers you're considering, and see what their strong and weak points are.

Welcome from SC, James. It's really good to have you on this great site.

There are a lot of different opinions about cookers and everyone has their own personal preference. I'll be the first to tell you that you should look around, do some research, make sure of what suits your needs and then buy a Bell Fab offset stick burner.

Good luck with your research, good luck in your smoking journey and have a lot of fun, Joe. :grilling_smilie:

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy, hot and humid day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
