I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and have been a fan of smoked meat for a long time. My only attempt was using a Cameron's indoor smoker. and liked it well enough but I have wanted to purchase a proper smoker for a while.. I picked up a never been used masterbuilt propane smoker for $15.00. I read a lot of threads from this forum and dove in with a 7.5 lb pork but and a hole chicken. Set my alarm for 3am and got to it. it turned out so good that my wife volunteered me to smoke another butt this labor day gan't wait. Thank you for all the information. I will be spending a lot of time on the site.
