New to the site, stumbled across it when searching for some ideas about smoking times for various cuts of meat. Got hungry, liked what I saw, decided to partake. Chicago transplant to NW Indiana. My first foray into dedicated "smoking" was purchasing a Pitboss pellet grill. Not the best unit around, however it has a huge smoking area, and the price...was just so right for a first time entry into the pellet grill world. Temps vary, doesn't hold to a very steady degree but everything so far on it has come off spectacular. I'm doing a 8.5 lb picnic roast now, I'm sure I'll toss some pictures up eventually.
