Just bought the masterbuilt 30 with all intentions of smoking everything I can put in it. Here for advice and tips as how to turn out the best possible food that I can. I live in salisbury nc so bbq is well known around my area but can get expensive if throwing a party. Brother in law has the Akorn grill and masters at that with his bbq and smoking procedures so wanted to try my hand at it. Been a line cook in steakhouses and a few short order places for 20 years now so I am no stranger to cooking, felt like electric smoking was right up my alley.
