    I'm a fisherman from South Dakota. I found this site while looking for a good smoked trout recipe. I'm looking forward to learning about my new hobby from this forum and looking forward to "meeting" people on here that are of like minds.

    Thans Gary. I'm going to test the picture loading to see if I can do it without a host site. If this works, this is first batch of jerky from last


    I had the heat setting on PL02 (shoulda just cooked longer at PL01) because I overloaded the little Bradley, hence the darker pieces. Still very tasty though. I'll do 2 smaller batches next time.

    Thanks guys! I did some pork steaks over the weekend and sliced them on the bias and fried them like bacon with my eggs in the morning. Wow, what a treat!
