So Cal
Hi y'all I am in Pasadena, CA.

Well, a local friend was cleaning out her yard and asked if I wanted a smoker.

I thought it would be one of those little round jobs so I said yes.

She warned me that it was quite dirty (and it was). It also was huge!

It is a Great Outdoors Rocky Mountain Smoker propane model. It is an older stainless steel model.

I have been cleaning it up, it was full of leaves and other nature. It fires up but the igniter

needs replacing. Seems to be missing the lid for the smoker box and a water pot??? I guess??

I do not have any documentation. I have been doing some reading and am interested

in smoking some meats. My father used to send me loads of smoked Sucker from

Minnesota and it was very good. I would like to try Salmon (and everything else) of course.  Ed

Welcome to SMF :)  Sounds like you scored on the free smoker,, am sure you can get parts if you search the web.  You will find info on anything you want to smoke here and lots of friendly expert advice.  Smoked suckers though ?  thought they were too boney to do anything with :)

Again welcome and looking forward to seeing pics of your smoker fired up :)
