Fantastic site. Got a MES for B-Day in Jan. Have used your info extensively ever since. Finally figured out how to post. First smoke was eatable brisket but not what I was looking for. Then ribs, more brisket, butt, Fatties, 7 bone roast, more ribs, veggies. Told the grand kids I was thinking about trying Baked Alaska. Once again thanx to all for the fantastic help

Welcome to the SMF, and congrats on the new MES. You're goona have some fun here, reading and sharing, it's all good. My dad was born in a house that is now an LDS church in safford.

Glad to hear from you. I got a MES in Jan as well - but man you must be working it fulltime to get all those in so far! I used WAY too much wood the first time out but am getting the hang of it now.

Cheers,
