New to the site but have been following if for months.  Fairly new to smoking, only been doing it for a few years.  Own 2 backyard smokers 1 offset pit horizontal and 1 offset vertical, both Brinkmanns.  Looking at building my own.  Hope to start doing some backyard competitions to see how i compare.  Have been smoking ribs and pulled pork for several of my friends events and love every minute of it.  As is with my nature, i turn all my hobby's into jobs.  LOL.  Just can't help myself.  Not new to food, have owned my own restaurants for over 20 years, got out to explore other options.  BBQ is making me want to get back into it in some capacity though.  Probably not opening a restaurant, but some other avenue.  Have to see where it leads i guess.  Keep up the great feedback, i have learned alot by reading this forum.
