I'm new to the forum. I joined after reading a ton of useful info. I just purchased a Smoke Hollow 38" Propane Smoker. This is my 1st smoker purchase, but I have owned a Weber Charcoal Grille for years. I smoked my 1st Pork Loin last night, and it was not bad. I am still thinking I need to add a needle valve, or go with the whole Regulator/Needle setup from Bayou?? I smoked the whole loin that I cut in half, I also purchased a Maverick thermometer, and my smoker likes to run 240-250. I was running it in between the High and Off position on dial, which is cooler than Low position. It's still too hot, will the needle valve setup enable me to get a "true blue" flame that is better than the blue/orange I'm currently getting?? Thanks for any and all help, I am here to learn
