I am absolutely new to meat smoking. I am retired and am building my first smoker, 18" x 45" cook chamber from a 1960 compressor tank, 16" x 28" 1945 butane tank, and 3" x 55" semi-truck exhaust. Very exciting. I may put it on a trailer. I found the calculator very handy as well as the forums. From what I've read, I think I have enough raw materials. I can't wait to get this done and get cookin'.
