Seattle but want Montana
I'm Paul and hail from Seattle but hope to relocate to Montana ASAP. I've always been a big fan of bbq.
I smoked salmon in a Little Chief smoker years ago and it turned out great. But now we are getting a half beef from family (who smokes) and I want to smoke lots of it.
So I just built my first smoker from an idea I had. It cost three dollars! Got the 24" stove for free off craigslist. Pot and hot tray (that I cut down and got lucky as it fit perfectly) for half price at Goodwill. Maybe will make the vent adjustable later. But it ranged from 220 to 250 on full so we'll see.
So here it is, along with my 1st chicken I need to get it out now!
I thought I did the pictures right but I don't see them.

I'm going to give you points just for doing it "different" & for thinking outside the box! Welcome to smf, Paul.

Welcome to the SMF. Glad to have you aboard. If you resize your pics to 640X480 they show up a lot better.
