HELLO new to smoking JUST got Oklahoma JOE serial NBS6429 can anyone tell me year/info??.

Hello all im new to smoking, done one time with neighbor and now hooked, I am stay at home dad in San Diego and try not to spend lots of money when I don't have to. I found this Oklahoma Joe smoker for cheap, just wondering if anyone could tell if an original from perry, ok or a china version.

To be truthful, I have never owned one, but It looks like the one my former neighbor had, and his had a serial number tag on it as well.  Dunno for certain, but he told me the Chinese ones didn't have a serial number plate on it.

His was pretty rugged, and took a lot of cooking!

Lots of friendly folks here at SMF, vast amounts of expertise and help if needed.

Now from what research im doing it looks like a new brunsfels black diamond, BUT still has a Oklahoma joe serial plate not the NB plate?????
