Hello how ya doing?

  1. Hello,

    My name is Rich.  I have loved getting the newsletters from Jeff for about the past year.  Tried alot of his recipes and loved them.

    I have been smoking for a few years. I am on my third smoker.  First was a Brinkman charcoal, liked it but lots of work.  Next a Mecco electric, liked it but lots of wind at my house.  Got a Bradley last year for Christmas and I love it.  I smoke lots of salmon, butts, chicken, turkey, pork loins and chops.  Also my fair share of venison.  I have yet to try making jerky.  Thanks for this site and forum I think I will get fatter because of it!  Live in Chicagoland so I am still having a Bears hangover from this bad season.  Gonna do some Salmon brining and smoke them tomorrow.

    smoking is only bad for you if you inhale.   You might choke on the food.
