Well i am just getting into smoking, in fact i dont even have my smoker yet. My wife is getting me a sidebox smoker/grill combo for fathers day. It should be a fun adventure to learn how to do it. I will be thankful for any pointers.

Hello, neighbour. I live just north of Washington in the BC Rockies. I am quite new to smoking and this forum has been so helpful. There is a ton of information in the posts and the experienced members are so generous with their knowledge. I hope you enjoy the forum as much as I have.

Welcome to the forums!  Glad you've joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastimes...grilling, smoking, and curing great food!  There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Good luck with that build project, and just ask any time you need help and you'll get plenty!
