Howdy,
Long time reader, first time poster. Thought I'd introduce myself prior to making any other posts.
As my name states, I LOVE cooking with Kingsford Match Light charcoal. It's quick to start and leaves a nice flavor on the food.
Joking aside --
I live in Upstate New York. Been grilling/smoking for 10 years or so. I have an 18" OTS, 22.5" OTG and a Genesis E330 for when I'm feeling lazy.
I used to own a 18.5" WSM until I traded it for a home theater system (I regret it to this day), although I did have some gripes about the WSM.
Currently I'm in the process of building a Mini-WSM. I've sourced the pot (IMUSA, couldn't find anything else except for the $65 Vasconia on Amazon). I'm going to be putting 2 grates in it. Anyone have any luck putting a butt on each grate? Can't seem to find an answer -- wondering if theres enough room. Normally I make two at a time.
This week I'll be purchasing a SJG and a Maverick ET-732.
I really enjoy spicy food. The spicier the better. My ghost peppers have started budding!
Anyway, glad to be here.
