been looking up stuff here for a while now. mostly use a 30" MES, however not working at the moment, see post. also have ECB, brinkman pitmaster, and considering a GOSM if the MES wont work out. anyway been smoking for seven or eight years now, turn out some pretty good grub. would like to learn about making sausages and sticks out of the vension i like to keep around. lots of good info here on the site, hope i can contribute a little. any help is greatly apprecieated, i love to learn new stuff.

First off welcome Wes to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.

It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.

Glad you came on line. Sounds like you already have been enjoying the thin blue smoke and we'd really appreciate hearing more about your smokes and don't forget the pictures. I've been around here for a good while and I never cease to be amazed at the available information on just about everything associated with outdoor cooking and especially smoking. If you have a question, just ask .... I have no doubt someone will have some information.

Hey Wes, welcome aboard from another Green Country Resident. Glad you found us. Sounds like you are an experienced hand at smokin'. I use a GOSM alot and really like mine alot. For the price you can't go wrong with those rigs.
