I'm fairly new to smoking. However me and my friend built our own smoker out of and old 80 gallon water heater and some other free steel we got. We have about $140 in it. I have however just purchased a master built electric smoker to use for smaller items when I don't need our gigantic smoker. We have had a lot of success so far smoking several turkeys, pork shoulders, and trout. I'm looking forward to smoking a lot more and reading some of the great posts here.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from another cloudy and rainy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
