Hi All,

I just joined the SMF today after using the generous information here to smoke my first shoulder.   It was pretty good for a first attempt but I know it will only get better.  I just moved up to Davenport IA from the Tampa Bay area for work.  Spring finally reared it's head here a little and I was wanting some smoked meat.   I gave my old Brinkman? smoker away twice!  Once in Florida to the moving guys and I'll be danged if it didn't show up on the truck in the Quad cites so I gave it away again.  Anyhow I am in the market for a new smoker.  I would like to cold smoke in the cooler months here. (Kind of tough in Florida most of the time).  I have been reading up on all the favorites on this site.  I love to tinker so I probably will try some of the many DYI projects I have found here also.   Thanks for all the information here!
