Just wanted to get on here and introduce ourselves. My wife and I got into smoking over the 4th of July this year with our Brinkmann Dual Function with SFB up at the cabin. Have done a pork should and ribs on it so far. Pulled pork was great! Ribs need some improvement. Liked smoking so much that we got a Char-Griller (KingGriller) Dual Play with SFB. Did some briskets on that one. Need to do a bunch of changes on that unit. Did the heat diverters, and extended the chimney inward per advice from this forum. It leaks a lot, so fire rope is needed in a lot of places. Finally got a good thermometer too based on advice from here. So we are learning as we go, thanks to this great forum. We aren't shy, so we dive into the difficult a little quickly sometimes. We also brew our own beer too.
