Good Evening Everyone,

I live just about 3 miles north of the Ohio line and the Indiana line is about 6 miles from my farm. Been a long time griller, now looking at trying smoking. Lot of people have told me I'll never go back to a grill.

Been lurking here for a few weeks, getting a feel for different smokers and went with the Masterbuilt Electric 40 inch smoker.

Pre-seasoned it today and my first experiment is going to be a little different. Nobody around here seemed to have beef brisket and so I picked up a corned beef brisket. It's a little one, and was on sale, so if I screw up, no major harm done. I plan on trying ribs tomorrow.

Nice to be here, seems like everyone is quite friendly and always willing to give advice!

Have a great evening!
