Hello to all Smokin' Brethren.

My name is Dan and I'm a Smoke-Aholic.

I've been enjoying the natural wonder of smoke and fire for many years and enjoy every facet of the Culinary Arts, but especially BBQ.

I'm currently doing most of my outdoor cooking on a Vision Classic B Kamado style cooker. I grill, smoke, BBQ and bake everything I can in it and it is the most fun I've had to date with any outdoor cooking device.

I've frequented your forums many times in the past for advice and knowledge from you good folks and decided it was time I introduced myself and maybe from time to time share some of my thoughts and experiences.

I'm heading out now to go pickup a brisket to put on the smoker for the big game.

Best wishes to all on this wonderful weekend, enjoy the game and all that goes with it!

Welcome Dan!  Best of luck with that brisket.  I had planned on a brisket for the game also, $7.99 per pound was a game changer.  I got wings, ribs and a 9 lb butt for less then $40.00 total.  That brisket was over $80.  I could find lower priced brisket if I shopped around, but traffic sucks around here with Mardi Gras parades.

Mike
