I'm new to this site but I'm not new to smoking. I live in South Bend IN, home of the Fighting Irish, Go Irish. I've been smoking for around 15yrs and I can't enough of it. I like to smoke or grill something at least 5 nights a week the other 2 nights are usually for eating leftovers. I really don't get into making a lot of other stuff like side dishes and veggies although I do like my smoked corn on the cob and smoked baked potato's I mainly concentrate my efforts on making the best piece of meat possible. I started out on an old Brinkman charcoal vws. After that I bought a Master Built electric vws. Man does that thing make awesome jerky that's the only thing I'll use to make it. From there I bought a CG Pro w/sfb and that's all I mainly use for everything else. Since then I have acquired one more to my modest arsenal I got a steal on a Master Built gas smoker 7 in 1 type model. I use it mainly to start my chimney for the CG but I do like it for long smokes like brisket or a butt. I only use it when I don't want to stay up for an all nighter. They're great because you can set it and forget it for the most part. Anyway there is my intro and I'll be here for a while. I love to take pictures and start threads on my cooks. So as y'all say there will be some Qveiw in the future.
